In January 1988 Yates Professional Investigations was formed as a fully licensed investigating and commercial consultancy company based in Brisbane Australia. Through 1988 and 1989, having expanded and consolidated, and as a reflection of the company's growing place in the industry, Yates extended its operation Australia wide and overseas.

The company is based at Unit 5, 104 Newmarket Rd Windsor, Brisbane. Our telephone number, Brisbane (07) 3357 4644 (six lines) is monitored on a 24-hours a day 7 days a week basis, and controls all agents Australia wide. The directors and staff can be contacted in cases of emergency at any time of the day or night. All senior staff are equipped with paging systems and mobile telephones.

The Managing Director is Julian T Yates assisted by Senior Partner James W Doran. Both have extensive experience in co-ordinating investigations and specialise in the areas of insurance, finance and legal matters. They are assisted by their Investigation and Commercial Supervisors who direct operatives within the investigative and commercial section and who manage a highly trained staff including covert personnel.

Our staff, both investigative and commercial, have current passports and are ready to travel or consult on any matter anywhere in the world.

The company has a number of associates whose skills are used on an 'as needed' basis. Amongst these associates are Surveillance, Electronic, VIP Protection, Forensic, Arson, Financial, Taxation and Behavioural Science experts.
